In Queens, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across New York on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 5β10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. Queens is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Queens is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

I now have been here four times: twice as a twosome and twice with the whole family and each time the food was good, the service was great, and the experience was enjoyable for everyone in the group. Strongly recommend the pepperoni, porco rosso, and spicy pizzas. All of them have delectable crusts, decadent and plentiful toppings, and the right texture. I had the date cake with gelato as a dessert and it was amazing. Not too sweet, fluffier than expected, and just such a nice flavor combination between the sauce, the gelato, and the cake itself.

This place is a must! Pizzeria Panina takes a classic staple, like pizza, and turns it into a whole new unique item. We had the Bianca and Classic and it was phenomenal! We also had two salads (arugula and the Cesar), the bruschetta, and also the insanely good date cake. We also had the most lovely waitresses last night that made the experience even better.

The best restaurant in Ridgewood! Everything is super good and service is on point. Just a great restaurant altogether! Came here twice already. Never disappointed with the food. The waitresses here are always quick and friendly with their prompt services. Everything is good. Literally. From cocktails, appetizers, pasta specials, and the INCREDIBLE PIZZAS! these are the best pizzas I've had in a while. Their dough is soft fluffy on the crust and thin and crispy on the bottom. We have tried most of the flavors and every pizza is a winner. Their pasta is equally well done!! Carbonara, agnolotti etc etc are fantastic! The sauces, texture, and the flavors are all on point. The date cake with the miso caramel?! Wow π² that is one decadent dessert! What a way to end a great meal! Get the gelato or the whipped cream, both are super delicious. Can't recommend this enough! Rolos is the most overrated restaurant in NYC right now. Forget Rolos, it's all hype. El Gigante is also a let down, mediocre at best, but better than Rolos. Panina is A++!!

Incredible spot for our first night in town from Boston! Shout out my girl Victoria for reserving us the table, and to the whole staff for being lovely and kind and treating us like family. The service is really very good which made the experience so fun. The food was incredible. We genuinely left stuffed after sharing salad, meatballs, pizza, and pasta. The sticky date cake was truly the star thoughβ¦..so good I forgot to get a picture ππ

For a place focused on pizza, the pizza missed badly. We ordered three pies. All arrived soggy and wet. The crust was overly thick. The slices collapsed due to a soaked center. The date cake stood out and tasted excellent. The pistachio tiramisu was acceptable. Service was fine overall, though one server with glasses came across as unfriendly. She might have been having a rough day. The experience was average, but the pizza was a major disappointment.
